IU Bloomington will host the third annual BFusion and BFlex conferences, two days of hands-on training from experts in Adobe ColdFusion, Flex, AIR, and Flash Catalyst -- technologies used to rapidly build Rich Internet Applications.

This past month we had a great discussion with the IUPUI SIGGRAPH chapter in regards to our collaboration project. The details of the project are still being ironed out, but the basic premise is to create a web community that allows students and professionals to compete for Indiana based scholarships and other sponsored gifts. For July's meeting we watched a Dr. Woohoo's recorded presentation on 'Generating Artwork' by using ExtendScript/Patch Panel to make new tools and bridge gaps between current software. The lecture was very informative and I think everyone was able to get a glimpse of the possibilities that are available through these outlets.
